FHE Youth Cheer is a volunteer-run program proudly connected to Forest Hills Eastern’s Varsity Cheer team. Our goal is to build a love for cheer while helping athletes grow in teamwork, confidence, and dedication, all while preparing them for the next level.
This program includes two seasons: a fall sideline season and a winter competitive season. The fall sideline season is open to all 3rd–8th grade students who live within the Forest Hills Eastern school district. The winter competitive season is open to 6th–8th grade participants.
As a volunteer-run organization, we depend on parents to contribute their time and talents to help make the program successful. If you’re interested in getting involved, please contact us at [email protected].
Fall Season Outline
Please note that practice times, locations, and guidelines may change. We ask that families remain flexible and stay up to date through the BAND notification system for any updates.
Pre-Season Practice (Location: Knapp Forest Elementary). During these sessions, the cheerleaders will meet their coaches, start learning cheer routines, and try on uniforms. We will also have professional photos taken during this time. It is important that your cheerleader attend these sessions.

*Hawk Rally - we also have the opportunity to cheer at the first part of the Varsity Football game and perform during Hawk Rally. Hawk Rally date is TBD, stay tuned for details!
Fall Sideline Registration Fees for 2026:
3rd Grade: $140
4th-5th Grade: $160
6th - 8th Grade: $220
And includes the following:

Varsity Cheer Summer Camp
Cheer & Tumbling Basics and Skill Building
June 17-18
Grades: K - 8th, Boys & Girls
Time: 9:30am - 12:00pm
Cost: $78 | Includes T-shirt & Bow
All new cheer camp opportunity for all current and prospective cheerleaders in grades K-8th! We will work on cheer and tumbling basics, craft those skills needed to become a cheerleader.
Sessions will be broken out by age and we'll include games and a special cheer craft. Please have athletes wear athletic shorts, tee shirt, shoes and have hair up off their neck.
Bring a water bottle and a snack! We may be outside for a portion of this camp, so please pack sunscreen as well!

FHE Youth Cheer is an independent program of FHPS. While we operate seperatly we do follow the same policies as FHPS, espeically the code of conduct, please refer to the student/parent handbook HERE. By joining FHE Youth Cheer you agree to abide by these same policies.
